President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is set to partake in the 33rd cultural symposium of the armed forces on the occasion of the Martyr’s Day at Al-Manara International Conference Center.

The event will be attended by Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki and Military Production Minister Mohamed Ahmed Morsy, the Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid, as well as a host of senior state officials.

The President will honour a number of armed forces’ veteran leaders, and the martyrs’ families. It is worth mentioning that, Egypt’s Armed Forces annually celebrate Martyr’s Day in memory of former military chief of the staff Abd El-Moneim Riad.
