Renown  Hotelier Ashraf Helmy moves to Dubai

Following a successful career in Egypt, covering international chains such as Sheraton, TUI hotels and many other positions in Cairo and the Red Sea, renown hotelier Ashraf Helmy is moving to Dubai for new challenges. His new duties will start with the opening of two new resorts in Fujairah followed by more properties in Dubai and Oman.

His last position in Egypt was Area General Manager for Madinat Makadi, a beautiful complex of 1842 rooms and 8 resorts. During this period, his creativity was appreciated by all visitors and included events such as the Olympic day, the Christmas Parade and many environmental programs.

He will also be missed in Hurghada by HEPCA, being a major board member there who contributed towards the organization in many positive ways.

Being a professional diver as well as a great fisherman, many of the local Hurghada business and friends will miss him.

Ashraf is married and has two daughters who will be joining him from New Zealand.
