The governor stated that the number of the dead reached 16 so far, they are Sarah Jumaa Muhammad Hassan, 33, and her sons, Khadija Ali Al-Naji, 8, Hamza Ali Al-Naji, 10, Muhammad Ali Al-Naji, 3, from Bani Mazar, Minya Governorate, Mahmoud Abdel Al-Rahim Muhammad Ahmad from Bani Mazar, Adel Zayed Jamal, Secretary of the Port Security Police from Bani Mazar, Ahmed Mustafa Muhammad Abu Al-Nour from Bani Mazar, Ahmed Shaaban Muhammad Ahmad, from Bani Mazar, and Muhammad Jaber Ramadan, the bus driver, from Gharbia Governorate.

Dr. Ayman Rakha, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in South Sinai, said in a statement to Al-Watan that the total number of cases that were transferred to Abu Rudis General Hospital is 13 people, and one case was discharged immediately after receiving treatment in the Al-Zahra Medical Unit, in addition to the transfer of two cases to Sharm El-Sheikh International. .

He said that Dr. Hani El-Ezaby, Director of Hospitals Administration, went to Abu Ordees General Hospital, along with a team of doctors, to follow up the condition of the injured. El-Ezaby confirmed to Al-Watan that there are 13 cases in Abu Ordees General Hospital, most of the cases with various fractures and bruises.

8 cases discharged

He pointed out that 8 cases were discharged after receiving treatment and their condition improved, and a case was transferred to Suez General Hospital with a broken eye bone and suspected fracture of the base of the skull, while only 4 cases receive treatment, stressing that the cases are stable.

Mabrouk Al-Ghamrini, head of Abu Ordis, visited the injured, and said that Major General Khaled Fouda, the governor of South Sinai, decided to provide treatment to all the injured and transfer them to a hospital if necessary, he thanked the medical teams in the Health Directorate that moved immediately to follow up the cases, adding that most cases came out for improvement. her condition.

Zidan Abdel Ghaffar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in South Sinai, said that the Minister of Solidarity, Dr. Nevin Kabbaj, decided to disburse an amount of 10,000 pounds to each head of the family, and 5,000 pounds to each unmarried person, pointing out that if 24 hours have passed for the injured, compensation will be paid to them.
