Iran threatens to strike Israeli nuclear sites if attacked

Egypt Daily News - Tehran is preparing for a possible Israeli response to its missile and drone strike over the weekend. Iran warned Israel against attacking its nuclear facilities, and threatened to respond in kind if its atomic sites in the country were targeted, according to Bloomberg.

Ahmed Hatlab, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps responsible for protecting Iran’s nuclear facilities, said: “The nuclear centers of the Zionist enemy have been identified, and the necessary intelligence information about all targets is at our disposal.”

“Fingers are on the trigger to launch powerful missiles to destroy specific targets in response to possible action,” the Islamic Republic News Agency quoted him as saying. He added that Iran may “review” its nuclear policies due to Israeli threats, without going into details. The Islamic Republic says its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
