Israeli fears that the International Criminal Court (ICC) will issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and other officials

Egypt Daily News - Israeli Channel 12 reported on Thursday that Israeli officials fear that the International Criminal Court in The Hague will issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials.

The channel added that Israel obtained information about the possibility that the court will issue its orders before the end of this month. It indicated that Netanyahu's office held an emergency meeting last Tuesday to discuss possible arrest orders.

An Israeli cabinet meeting was held and decided to seek for support from international diplomatic circles in an effort to foil possible action against Netanyahu. Numerous bodies have charged that Israel has breached international law and committed war crimes in its retaliatory campaign in Gaza since the October 7 attacks.
