EgyptDailyNews - PM Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, met today with Eng. Ahmed El Gendy, Managing Director of the Chinese company Haier, in the presence of Hossam Haiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.

He stressed the state's great interest in creating the necessary conditions to attract investments and motivate major companies to expand their business in the Egyptian market, expressing his appreciation for the model of the Haier Integrated Industrial Complex in 10th of Ramadan, which succeeded one year after obtaining the golden license in implementing the project and starting its operation and production. 

This confirms the seriousness of the company, adding: The government is ready to provide full support for the expansion of the company’s industrial complex.

During the meeting, Engineer Ahmed El Gendy reviewed the expansion position of the Haier Integrated Industrial Complex, in the 10th of Ramadan Industrial Zone, and the new phases that will be added to this complex, as part of a huge investment plan implemented by the company to develop its business in Egypt, with the aim of expanding its product base to cover the needs of... The local market and export, and building on the strategic relations between Egypt and China and the trade exchange agreements between them.

He also expressed his appreciation for the role of the government and its agencies in providing all aspects of support for the implementation of the company’s project in Egypt, and the Prime Minister’s keenness to provide investors with the opportunity to meet them, listen to them, and direct them to remove any obstacles or challenges to advance work on the projects.
