The Minister of Agriculture announces that the Saudi Arabia’s markets will receive Egyptian onions

Egypt Daily News- Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Mr. Al-Quseir, , announced that the Saudi markets would receive Egyptian onions. This came based on the contact that “Al-Quseir” made with Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli, Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Water in the Kingdom. 

Communication also took place at the technical level through the Egyptian agricultural quarantine with its Saudi counterpart, where it was restored. The presence of Egyptian onions on the platform for importing agricultural products to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to support the Egyptian export system to countries around the world.

It is worth noting that the export of onions was resumed as of the first of this April with the beginning of the new harvest season, as more than 6,000 tons have been exported so far to various countries of the world, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
