Egypt: Ceasefire talks in Gaza continue and have not been interrupted

EgyptDailyNews - Egypt confirmed that the ceasefire talks in the Gaza Strip are continuing and have not been interrupted. Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry told CNN on Tuesday that talks on reaching a ceasefire in Gaza are continuing and have not been interrupted.

The UN Women's Affairs confirmed that more than ten thousand women were killed in Gaza, in addition to the survivors of bombing and ground operations by the Israeli occupation forces being displaced and facing the risk of starvation.

The United Nations agency estimated that 19,000 children were orphaned as a result of the killing of 6,000 mothers in Gaza, and more than a million Palestinian women and girls in Gaza were unable to obtain food or drinking water after six months of war, with diseases increasing amid poor inhumane living conditions.

The United Nations called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all hostages, and safe and unhindered access to humanitarian aid.
